Because the light ...
Because the light is only picked up bu the camera. You slow the shutter speed down and all? it wants to pick up on is the light you're providing. unless you're wearing white and its reflective, it wont pick up on you.

how do you get it so your body? doesnt appear in the shots

next time try ...
next time try wearing all black clothing, light won't bounce? off your clothes, resulting in that "ghost" effect. other than that, great job on capturing light without it being to much!!

you can do it with ...
you can do it with any camera where you have control over the exposure length. i haven't tried it on my iphone,? but i know it will somewhat work.

Would look even better if you took the pictures in RAW format and adjusted the? lights and shadows as some of the lighting lines look suppressed

Basically, you just set it to tv (canon) or shutter priority mode and set the exposure to really low like 30. If? you're at 1/250th, just go down (1/200th, 1/150th, etc.) until it says 30
